Pastor James McNeill serves as the pastor of New Hope Assembly of God in Panhandle, Texas. A third-generation Pentecostal minister, he has a deep love for God's Word, a passion for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and a desire to see people grow in their relationship with the Lord.

As an Assemblies of God minister, Pastor McNeill is committed to biblical preaching, sound doctrine, and the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit. He firmly believes that prayer is essential to a personal relationship with the Lord. For him, prayer is more than asking God for help or presenting our needs; it is about seeking His presence, enjoying fellowship with Him, and growing closer to Him.

His ministry emphasizes not only coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ but also growing in that faith through prayer, studying God's Word, and living in obedience to the Lord.

His heart for New Hope Assembly of God is to see a church where God's Word is preached, Jesus is proclaimed, the Holy Spirit is welcomed, and lives are transformed through a growing relationship with Christ.
